Event Description

This month the BASE meeting is on Tuesday 15th, 7pm at the LinkedIn offices in Mountain View.

Miles Sabin, creator of the Eclipse Scala plugin, will be giving a demo of the new version of the plugin that supports the features in the upcoming 2.8 version of Scala.

Scala 2.8 now has tighter integration with tooling and the new plugin takes advantage of those changes to give a better overall tooling experience. To see the future of Scala tooling (both in eclipse, and as they catch up other IDEs), please join us.

As always, if you can, please plan on being a little early to register before the meeting. The meeting will start at 7pm sharp and you may find it hard to get in if you are later than that.
