Event Description

The next meeting of the Bay Area Scala Enthusiasts (BASE) will be held on Tuesday 14th April 2009 at the Googleplex in Mountain View. We will hold the meeting in Kazan, which is in Building 40 of the Googleplex, starting at 7pm. Meet in the Building 40 lobby starting at 6.45pm to sign in, and we will head in to the room at 7.

This month, we are pleased to announce that David Pollak will be joining us. David is the creator of the Lift web framework for Scala (a Rails inspired web framework with a strong Scala essence to it), and will be talking about that, and Scala development in general. It should be an excellent session. There will also be some small admin items to take care of.
